All about me

pinkpapaya_011.JPG

I'd love to meet up for a natter and hear all about your ceremony plans, but before we do, here's some insight into me.

I'm a qualified primary teacher with a degree in English and an MA in Children's Lit - which basically means I'm a bookworm with a stationery obsession. I geek out over beautiful storytelling and there's no greater privilege in my job than finding the right words to tell a couple's love story.

I've taken my core values in teaching and channelled them straight into my business - I'm all about creating inclusive spaces where people feel safe and heard, and treating everyone with warmth, respect, and compassion. I'm big on connection, community and authenticity.

I had my own celebrant-led ceremony back in 2017 when I married my wonderful husband and I want every couple to know they can create this kind of magic with their ceremony!

If I sound like your cup of tea, then drop me a message and we can arrange a meet-up or a video chat. I love meeting in person as I think you can get a real sense of whether you connect with someone - there's also the option for cake which is always a hit in my book. If you have a dog you want to bring with you then I'll be one happy celebrant!
